In the Portuguese cork forest our vertical integration management system offers us access to the premier cork supplies. Our own team of experienced forest managers controls the purchasing process to ensure maximum quality raw material. Strict quality control of the raw material from the outset is critical to the success of the final product.

Our integrated Quality Control program ‘The Global System’ is unique in its scope across all critical control points in the cork manufacture cycle, from the forest in Portugal to the winery in Australia.

With a worldwide team of 25 qualified and industry experienced technical personnel to manage and implement this program, our investment is unrivalled.

At the heart of ‘The Global System’ is Global Quality Control, our independent testing facility with a rigorous testing protocol and strict conformance criteria.

The Cork Supply Group uses SPME-GC/MS analysis to support traditional sensory evaluation and has a fully trained panel of sensory assessors available at all company facilities.

Our quality control program is integrated within our daily processes and spans the entire supply chain without exception. Our Adelaide production facility is both ISO9001/2000 and HACCP certified.
